For Sale
Please read the updated Sales Policy before committing to a purchase from Red Lotus.

ATTENTION
People that do not already have dwarf goats or any goats at all are urged to buy a pair. Goats are herd animals and thrive with a buddy! :) New buyers are urged to ask questions. The more the better so that I can help provide as much information as possible those looking to start into the goat world.
Email is the preferred type of contact.

While we DO encourage buyers to come out and see the animals in person, we do not during the summer months. It's just too hot and miserable and by the time the sun goes down, we have other chores to be attending.

Animals ready to go must have a scheduled pick-up date
within a 7 day time frame otherwise a $2.50 per day board will be charged.

Board MUST be paid weekly otherwise the animal will be placed back up for sale.

RED LOTUS DOES NOT OFFER STUD SERVICE.
Mature does for sale may be bred before leaving if the option is there, but we do not allow outside stock onto our property nor breeding to outside stock for biosecurity reasons.

Unfortunately we cannot offer delivery at this time.

All kids can be triple-registered.

Mature does can be bred before leaving the property for a breeding fee of $50.
A confirmed pregnancy test through BioPRYN can be performed to ensure the doe settled before she leaves the property at the buyer's expense, usually about $7.50 + S&H.

I do not charge based on superficial things such as color (blue eyes, coat color, etc.) or polled status.

I am best contacted via the internet; reply time will always be very prompt!
Contact me if you are interested in any of the wonderful goats for sale on this page!

All sales are operated on a first come, first serve basis; whoever places a deposit first reserves the goat of interest for sale. I do not hold any goat for sale on word alone.

All buyers will be asked to sign a contract.

WETHERS

Red Lotus IM Charlie X (C7)
03-09-12

SS: Big Enuf AK Sharper Image
Sire: Big Enuf SI Image of The Moon
SD: Good Measure Farm Dark of The Moon 2*D

DS: Double Sundog ZG McDreamy *S
Dam: Sacred Spirit MD Tribble
DD:  Esperanza WS Tombstone Rose

Kudos to those who know the name origin... ;)

Charlie is a bottle-kid now and continues to be a sweet boy.

This boy is a lot like his brother in conformation and quality. He has that nice thin pliable dairy skin I like to feel on these little guys, and he has nice flat bones. He is proportional in length of body, he will more than likely mature uphill in the withers that leads into a good topline. His rump is decent. He has nice feet and legs and he is even wider between the hocks than he started out with. I think he'll make an excellent herdsire considering his dam's udder and conformation (yes, I will be getting a better picture of her soon!), imparting long plumb teats to his daughters and improving udder attachment. I also hope this little guy sells to a great home that intends to use him as a working herdsire and perhaps bring him into the show ring! Of course, any home with lots of love is good by me ;)

Please note that any buck that does not sell before 8 weeks of age will be wethered.

Projected wean-by date is: Anytime! Charlie is now taking a bottle without problem. Otherwise Charlie's weaning date will be April 27th.
*Buyer must have a source of fresh milk to finish Charlie on. We unfortunately do not have enough extra milk to send buyers home with.

Red Lotus CM Beemo (C9)
04-09-12

SS: DF Farms HD Barney Rubble+S
Sire: DesertNanny BR Comanche Moon *S/*B
SD: DesertNanny Icy BlueTailFly 3*M/3*D/*DD

DS: CRF Castle Rock Ursa Minor
Dam: Red Lotus UM T'Pau
DD:  Sacred Spirit MD Tribble

Kudos to anyone that knows the name origin... ;)

This poor guy tried to enter the world as a pretzel. We thought we were going to lose him during the delivery, but somehow he pulled through and he continues to get stronger and more lively after each long nap and a belly full of milk. Beemo is cute as a button and finally starting to popcorn around like babies do. Were circumstances better than they were and if his dam would fill her udder up substantially, I might have offered him as a buck. But for now Beemo is destined to be a wether, and probably a really spoiled one at that!

Buyers will need a source of fresh goat milk, as we do not have any extra to send them home with, in order to take this boy home as a bottle-kid. Beemo will not be able to leave until he is at least 7 weeks old and of-age to be castrated.

My husband really fell in love with little Beemo. Maybe if he isn't sold soon, Beemo might be our first kept wether in years.

Projected wean-by* date is: May 28th to June 4th.
*Buyer must have a source of fresh milk to finish Beemo on. We unfortunately do not have enough extra milk to send buyers home with.
